an innovative way to present a lot of information
in a short time.
Each Eagle Wing Production student receives an individual letter grade for their participation. This can be a challenge since the production of each project is by necessity a team process. Technical skills for elements such as lighting and editing are assessed. However, the program continues to grapple with how to assess academic skills, the creative process, and the aesthetics of projects. Thus far this aspect has been intuitive. The program is currently researching how to equitably assess student achievement. The program is also exploring mechanisms for follow-up studies on students and their projects to better understand the impact of the program.
